Title: Ambient Sounds Not playing on Client
Post by: TBS_logitech on January 13, 2007, 04:22:37 PM
Hi all,

I have been making a soccer map for me and my friends, and i was trying to put in background music. I have added the Ambient Sound Actor into my map, set it up properly (at least i think) and gone through countless hours of thinking, only to find the sounds will not play on the Client!

I cant think of anything I've done wrong.  Also when I try to do real-time preview (in UnrealEd) the sounds will not play. However when i host it on my other computer, the sounds will play in team selection, game play, basically the sounds will work on the host machine.

Has anyone come across this problem before?

Thanks,

well im not sure, but look at the bottom of 'Hidden' in the properties, if Role is there try setting it to ROLE_SimulatedProxy. That made Emitters show up for clients so maybe it will work for sounds too.
