Alpha and Masked Transparent Textures

I added a texture with transparency as a .dds file and it saved the Alpha and it exported over pretty nicely.

I set Masked to True to remove the transparency outline area and laid it down a couple of units above the ground surface. The first attempt left a white line around the outer edge in parts but it's looking much better now. It's not truly perfect but it creates the effect I'm looking for.

And what?

It's a custom blood texture with subtle hints of the elevator moment in Shining.


Damn I'm going to have to watch the Shining and actually pay attention to most of the movie and watch for that elevator then.  :P
