in the updated RC, there are two xmaplists, named xmaplist and xmaplistupdated(the updated one having Hangar on the list) does this mean i can have multiple xmaplists and the comp can look at all of them? like i could make a mappak and just download the new maplist too, without having to alter the other one

Hmm dunno tycon i guess if you have a seperate mod also you can have a different mapslist. I just always update the xmapslist . I only experimented with changin the loadscreens for MP maps to same as SP . But i notice you can also change the normal MP loadscreens to same as SP style and join normal servers. only trouble will be if you make server and others try to join (not tested that yet tho) !
