I need to add a blocking volume across the middle of my next map (like the dodgeball ones). How do you do it?If any1 new that would be great

RC-1266

first you need a brush (a redline skeleton of the form you want the blocking volume in)
then select the brush, rightclick on the "volume"-icon (the fourth icon under the "add texture"-icon) and select BlockingVolume
that's it

Danny

How do I control how big the volume is?

cuz it doesnt exactly 'block'

Edit: Nvm it works thnx for help =D

RC-1266

you have to edit the volume to make it block nades and fire too...
this is the way you can do that:

go to the blocking volume properties; go to CollisionAdvanced;
and set
OR
bBlockZeroExtentTraces to True
OR
bBlockNonZeroExtentTraces to False

you have to choose the right one, i thought it was bBlockNonZeroExtentTraces, but I'm not very sure....
