Yeah...
I just found that out cause I was doing a report for school about the unreal engine (It was the UE2 engine, so I didn't put the 1 million triangles thing in..)

No, I downloaded it, but it's not textured (I suck at skinning) and I don't know how to rig...

Only 2000? The average player model in RC now has about 4000, and the average next-gen game has about oh, 1,000,000 plus (UT 2007)
I like the idea of a mod that would extend RC, just don't call it "next gen" when people are going to get the mod and realize that you just spent time making High-poly and High-detail textures, but that your maps are a random jumble that either dosen't support gameplay, or that they cause serious FPS problems on lower-end computers and make them explode....
Also pushing it may expose the limits of the engine, and make it look bad to some people and turn them off to mapping and modding.  
     I do love the idea of an RC 2, but maybe just call this a mod, then see if it entices LA to make a real RC 2.  I hope to see this mod succeed, as my mod isn't really doing too well with just me working on it...
     Anyway, what I am saying is that you may be a little to big for your britches, and you have good ideas, you just need to put your innate sense of detail into maps, rather than just Graphics.
     Just look at Halo, It came out, what 6 years ago?  It's still a good game, because of the storyline and well thought out game play.

Ok, so I don't want to give away too much about my mod, but I will give my progress.

2 out of 6 needed maps done
Got ONE faction done about 50%
Haven't started on weapons.

If you wanna help, I need:
Textures
Modelers/Animators for the new weapon HUDs
Maps

Xfire me (Explode1234) if you want to help....
I should have a screenie or two within the next few days...

I opened up Facing Worlds and made a few changes so it plays on the servers.

1. Added MPGame.TDGame to level props.
2. Added a map name and your name to summary.
3. Removed Particles and replaced with smoke (as particles won't show on MP server)
4. Turned all spawnpoints around for one team as they're facing wrong way.
5. Added a space sky box.
6. Increased trench count to 5 each side and replaced small ones for big.
7. Placed playerstarts in trench to lower spawn kills.
8. Planed the texture to lose joins.
9. Renamed to Facing Worlds XS to reflect changes.

Is that OK explode? It's a simple layout but is a really cool map for sure.

Yeah, sorry I was too lazy for this in the first place...
I think all the EXP maps have all that stuff, I'd like you to pick some..

Cool, Is it OK If I copy this into my map when It comes out, cause my map has a haloish air to it and king of the hill would be a nice addition  :D
