General / ...hey fellas--i think i'm back again

waddup :D

I'm back wid a brand new mission (V-ice, see what i did there, heh? clever :D )

Fraid i can't really party with you all in the modding scheme any more, but i been blenderizing some nasty, low-poly, SM's. i uploaded, and am waiting on the okay for it to be up. Currently, my first attempt at a human (hehe, he's nakey :D nothin weird though, just all skin color). I call 'em Gurret. i'll be back wid some sweet stuff soon--i dunno quite know what though...we'll see :D

herro :D i'm back, but i'm afraid not to mod (i gotta reinstall RC). can someone tell me any big breakthroughs you all have nailed down recently?

P.S. Atm, i'm working wid Blender (GameBlender, really) and tryin out some python.

do wookiees have right anims or hookups to be characters? i'm not sure how all this stuff works, so i'm just askin around. be kinda cool, you know? Hud anims could be Trandoshans with screwed up textures, even though it would look trashy

i'm converting Hangar into a sample, 4v4 Capture and Hold map. i'll work on this by making it so that pressing 'f' on a control panel (located in center of map typically) will slightyly move a bar up wards (just a plane with 50 or something bars, and each time you push F the plane comes slightly more out of ground, making bars appear) once all 50 bars appear, the lights will change from blue to red, assuming you're trando taking over the Repub base. each side of the 'capture and hold' area will have one of these panels. Repub is, in this case trying to get the bar to the ground, and trando make the bar get to the top. one panel makes it go up, the other makes the bar go down. at the end, a camera will show the capture and hold base, and you can see if lights are red or blue. obviously, red means trandos win, and vice versa. tell me whatcha think, eh? i'm also thinking of a way to make turrents, and i gotta plan.

all righty. i want to do a new RC game, cuz it seems like we always start one and never finish. i say new skins (i'm workin on Red and yellow/white; takin recon skin too), and modify guns up. involve more planning/placement of enemies and use Arramus's database changes. new SM's would be nice (using a glowing red dot and small SM is landmine for fun, and working on current landmine; i bleive it's a type of grenade atm that doesnt work) what you folks think?

I'm making SM's for bars. i'm makin a pool set, non textured wine bottles (thinkin of making trigger shake screen if you push f next to em :D look like your toasted), beer mugs, chandelers, various wall texes and what not. i'll try and keep posted

I think i found a way to make AI appear Smarter. If you wanted stealth, have Ai wid scripted Paths using path nodes. either set the object as a base to the trigger (forget how to do this: post if you know)  or make the trigger follow the same path. Make the bot friendly to you using the AI Scripted Sequence. Put your trigger radius's name as Hearing_Ring. make it so whenever you you step into the ring, the bot makes a noise and the trigger makes it now hostile (this could screw the crossfire, i mean it will change from green to red, just look weird) It should attack you. you should probably also make a wall that blocks AI pawns, or resets them, so they appear to stay at their post. unfortunatally, a search continues for my RC disk so i can't test this. hope it helps/works :D

Ignore this i'm just posting on my Wii no big deal its just on my Wii ^^ okay, well now i cant get .psk & .psa files (cant even make .psa files ne way) into UE. it just crashes (weird, huh?) any help?

i've been workin wid XSI and i'm workin on some cel-shaded hack and slashers. :D but i'm havin trouble exportin anims (i.e. i dont know how) any help would be appreciated, but i won't recognize you :D jk :D

right, i just read over the liscense agreement. check this out

    ok, i'm making static meshes, but don't know what to make. so i'm asking for requests. any meshes you want, but could never have?! pleaaaaasee! also, atm, i'm not doin skeletal meshes. i'll tell you once i get the hang of those. but any meshes needed fellas?
