Im sorry its been a long time but i have somethings to talk about. First, my new name, instead of {RCU}HM.Will10, I'm {WCD}HM.1crusher10. Second, i have a new website called Modding For Star Wars. I would like for our website to join together, since we are really the only ones that know how to mod RC. The new mod I am making is FATE. It will be an addon of campaigns for the game. The campaigns will be SEARCH FOR SEV in which the player takes on a series of missions on different planets trying to find Sev (Delta 07), RISE OF THE EMPIRE in which the player experiences the rise of the galactic empire and FIGHT FOR FREEDOM in which the player fights for the end of the galactic empire. The story will take a whole new turn. They will be the only clones that can figure things out, and will join the rebellion and die at the end of the campaigns. I have been studding how the game is made. I dont know if you know how but I can help out with your mod if you need anything.
 
 
Before I end this email, I need to ask you a troobleshooting question. I make maps in the UnrealEd, save them, and turn off the computer when I go to sleep. When I wake up, and try to load my map, the Editor closes. If you can please tell me whats wrong.
 
Please consider my offer. I would really like to join "forces" with you and spread the modding of RC to other people who what to learn.

As for the issue your having, I'm not sure what it is. I've never had a problem saving a map, but you might try other variants of UE2.5 and see if they do the same thing, or try saving it to a different location.

i have had that same issue before, i cant really say what causes it, but you basically have to start all over when that happens. to fix this, build often, and most importantly, save often. putting too much in a map before a save seems to be the biggest cause of the crashing issue. Also, when you save, make sure you save in multiple places like "name1, name2, name3...etc" that way if one just so happens to screw up, you can go to your backup file and only lose about an hour of work rather than an entire day, week, month, or whatever. when saving these multiple files, i also find it safer to save "name1" then move the camera to a different location before saving "name2"
