also, build all and save very often
when some of my maps crash on me a good bit, i save all the time. seems to work best if you save before you build all (so it doesnt crash on u during build and then u lose stuff) and then u save after every build (so u dont lose finished stuff), and if one save works i rewrite it onto the other copy as well incase the origional gets lost

DTS HQ is on the DS surface, but ive considered coruscant before i may try it one day
as for crashes- thats why u always save 1-infinity copies of a map, with space station i had 5 copies it gave me so much trouble

i honestly have a hatred for small maps, and i go much more for realism than fighting arenas thus the big size, i find it alot more fun because the bigger they are the stealthier you can be, as well as more sniping, and its also good for the adventurous types like me

also decided to put in 2 of the assault transports found in missilebase and spacestation, only this time retextured to match with the cruiser and fighters

i dont even have an account on filefront forums
but to make new meshes you assemble a few brushes together then select them all, right click, and go to convert then to static mesh and save in myLevel
note that you cannot make subtractions and have them remain when you convert to mesh (holes will then be filled up) so make only additions

looks like a pretty fun map i always enjoy kashyyyk night ones but ive never been good at much outside of the imperial/republic looking stuff
hope u put sound in this one, you get much more realism that way

yet another addition to my never ending fleet of starships (im just a astronomy lover, get over it :P)

the fighters were custom made ones after stuff i found in warhammer 40000 (as if any of u know what that is) and they are fly overs
skydome is nice one with taris at front of ship and a star made by FLCL for me on the left of it
and im just curious: is anyone sick of my starship maps?

well took all the files i figured i needed for UE and put them on my better computer that used to play RC on but then everything screwed up which is why i dont use it for RC anymore
it seems i can edit there without any problems but i guess we will have to see but for now i am able to make this thing again and hopefully can get done soon

only works if they have the skins as well, otherwise you wont even be able to play together

i did not test enough the last time, apparently it never was working again, when i try to add new rooms, it crashes, whether im building, saving, or just looking around
if you dont mind doing so, i can send you schematics and maybe you could complete it for me (this goes for whoever is willing to do so and is a good modder)

just so u know, AI retextures and resizing never show for the server guests-all they see is normal. i have tried that before on a trando marauder or whatever it was and changed to grenadier skin just to test and it didn't work

yeah that was a design i made for asteroid base, only retextured, i figured it would be cool to use the shiny texture this time because its hard to tell where the cracks in the door are and so it looks more advanced or whatever you want to call it
btw i made 5 versions of space station when all the crash crap happened and i did tons of saving on all, not like that helped tho
perhaps you should see asteroidbase if you want to view my largest work :)
