Title: Mod Tool Help
Post by: {RCU}HM.Will on August 09, 2009, 02:28:56 PM
Hey,
I have Softimage Mod tool 4.2 and when I try to save, it comes up with an activation code. Can someone please tell me what this means?

Never used it but they usually have a maximum poly count limit for free versions of modeling tools that will request activation to a full copy if you go over it.

Softimage XSI was sold to Autodesk and is now rebranded as Autodesk Softimage so I think you're better off running the latest version Autodesk® Softimage® Mod Tool 7.5.

Thanks,
But the reason im using 4.2 is that when i try to make a polygon mesh in 7.5, the thing closes. Any ideas on how I can fix this?

Doesn't XSI have forums? I'd try there.

I haven't used any modeling software.
