wel im not too clued up but maybe rc-1266 can help u here ,theres a kool map by darklord called asteroid base its hard to get and it has kool door finishes maybe u kud use that its reflective bronzey look.
wel in the textures every texture has a shader which just appears to be a lightener of wat u hav as the painted texture. so ive just been doin trandoskin paint jobs on the .bmp  ive done BOSSK ,CRADDOSK,NIGHTOPS TRANDO,DESERT TRANDO,SNOWTRANDO,ROCKTRANDO(like motor/rocky area),GURSSK and SCRUGG im gonna do a cuple more trandosskins. then its onto cloneskins. wel heres a link to the first 2 i ever did on wed/thursday. a jodokast and a redclone. im gonna redo them better . make a 5mandoskin set then a few sets of diff colored clones red,blue,green,grey,brown,orange etc.

i mite also wen got time try do sum skins of the sandcrawler mod v1 cos it bein unique with no helmet on the clone. like he mite have a beard lol or bleached hair etc . moustache,goatee, diffrent colored armor etc etc. or even DENGAR .

hmm i think u kan change to boss38 skin in mp cos its in the original campaign skin set. i think u go into unreal ed look for texture in the dropdown clonetextures then clik all on far left then scroll down look for boss 38 (dxts) and right clik on it export to file and type in .bmp after it then before u chang anythin shut unreal down then goto your gamedata folder and textures and copy the clone texture.utx file and paste it in the gamedata folder loose jus incase so u kan chang bak. then goto unrealed again and scrol down the clone textures til u get to MP_CloneCommandoA (dxts) and  then on top right import file the boss 38 skin u saved and make sure clonetextures isin topcell and middlecell and in bottom type in
MP_CloneCommandoA  to save as and itl supplant the nightops then shut down unreal ed and save no to untitled but make sure u save update to clone textures package. then try it out and ifit doesnt let u play wel it dusnt wurk and all you do is goto gamedata folder and drag the clonetexture into textures folder, no harm done . ive not tryd that so i dunno but u kan

btw theyr kool man im doin sumthn like taht but way more paint , 5 trando and 5 mandoskins lan set sheesh its slo goin i got bossk and craddosk done and they look ok.  8-)  :geek:

thanks sandcrawler ur a gent and i know u dont play rc anymore. kf mainly and u reorganised the site major late springclean soto speak. so much to do so little time... :D  this to me is THE rc modders haus.and should always be even if u and arramus are doin diffrnt stuff. :D

ah kind thanks to rc-1266 i got the 2nd ordmantel map from i combined them into a clikinstaller and anyone that wants it can get it from my filefront

also someone from tag (TAG FUZZY) had modified omt_01a.ctm so you can play it singleplayer lan i dont know ifit work as a co-op tho not tried it called KILLEVERYONE.

P>S Is darktrooper still about ? i would have loved to see the other 2 maps completed
as the first 2 were excellent and there is such a shortage of campaign stuff just modmaps 99.5% for dm or tdm/ctf only.... :roll:  :cry:

yeh merlin its magic sweet . you also hav another swrc mission for download called EXTENDED MISSIONS:THE HOSTAGERESCUE.alpha but its only half done. but not bad . you kant pikup the trando weps init tho. :cry: i hope you can finish it off as its a nice sideline story

ah thank u v much darklord yeh its dtshqv2 i got . it and especially spacestation are amazin. works of art. yeh i like sulifiedshriek style he made hunting ground nic map. its also not so easy to get. i found it recently and i must hav dloadd it jan 2007 r sumthn and it was 2clikinstallers which i made into 1.i was happy. ah man i cant wait to chek your mapout. yippee. the force is strong in you darklord. chhhhhhhoooooooooo  :evil:  8-)

yes but even if you hav updated system files like karma or movers or whatever u kan include that with the clikinstaller to extract. so its not that big a prob it jus means that everyone wil have to update a few files withit. cos this looks to good a proj to get stumped.  :cry:  u kan even do a clikinstaller with original values included inside a clikinstaller to extract to game data folder so ppl can revert to original settings with any mod u make. iv done it for someone elses mod. lol i modded a mod. :oops:

perhaps you could make 2 versions in an installer like crater ? 1 asa singlplayer mission like search for sev with bots in and 2 a more basic for multiplayer. but the clikinstaller can hav multiple extract files to diffrnt points from anyways. maps,textures ,sytem files  . best regards with it nyways fraz  looks amazin 8-)
