SandCrawler asked me to do this but I havnt check this forum since 2 months ago ahwell SandCrawler will see this i hope   :P

Nice tutorial, man
but
1 You don't need to scroll to "type new". UED recognizes, that the package doesnt exist when you type a new name and then creates it automatically.
2 One should not make new packages anyways ;)
3 Textures must not be *.bmps. They can have any filetype UED supports. I use *.pcx, but you can also use *.tga for textures with alpha channel or *.dds.
4 The size must not be 256x256. I mostly use 512x512, but 1024x512 or 128x256 are also possible imho. It mainly has to be powers of two
5 You should mention DXT compression, Detail Hack and MipMaps^^

6 Use Verdana, Tahoma or Arial and PLEASE use pixel fonts only for small stuff^^
