Anyone who knows me knows that I do not build maps for exploration, eye candy or secret useless gizmos. I build em for tactical soundness and competition potential. It is in that spirit that I bring you District 118 - a CTF map suited for 10 to 16 players set in an urban environment.
Highlights include a sewer system to which access can be controlled through switches in the central command building, working particle effects (Spuzz ftw!) and three distinct elevation levels arranged in a rock-paper-scissors format along the map's length.
Teamwork is the order of the day here - the team that controls the center of the map controls a vast majority of the interchanges between elevation levels and can quite literally monopolize the sewers.
